The Cowboys don't intend to honor Crayton's request to be released, a team official told NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora. Crayton is viewed as a valuable commodity on offense and special teams. "We are not releasing him!" the team official wrote after being contacted about Crayton's comments. No trades that make sense for the Cowboys have materialized, and the team isn't shopping Crayton, according to league sources. Tim McMahon of ESPNDallas.com reported earlier that Crayton, who has not participated in voluntary workouts this offseason, said during an appearance on ESPN 103.3's Ben and Skin Show that he is concerned that the Cowboys will keep him as insurance and cut him after training camp. Crayton wants a chance to join another team as soon as possible, which he said agent Fred Lyles frequently tells the Cowboys. Source: NFL.com
Thats what he gets for being a snitch about the situation. I doubt any team will want him as a starter anyway.
Are you referring to Williams ,or Crayton? Because the sad fact is either could sign with Cleveland, and walk into the No.1 receiver position. That said Id take Crayton.:icon_cry:
