Jerry Jones says it won't take long for him to make a determination on the status of his coach Wade Phillips, after the Dallas Cowboys' season is over. So you can bet right there that if Dallas loses at home to Philadelphia on Sunday that Phillips' last day on the job will be, say, Monday. The owner tried not to discuss the issue but wound up doing just that with Todd Archer of the Dallas Morning News. "It's not something I wanted to talk about here a month ago when the issue was more about, well, changing, that was kind of the tenor where the energy was," Jones told Archer. "I didn't want to talk about it then and I don't want to talk about it now. What I have said is to give you insight into the thinking that's going on, but as I've mentioned and it's not being trite, but it's not as though you had technical work to do here. Something is in place." Source: National Football Post
If they didnt make the playoffs this year I would say fire him right now. But since they made the playoffs I would probabbly wait and see how far he can go in the playoffs
He wins the division and he's still on the hot seat? I'm with dmac - can Garrett but Phillips deserves some resepect.
