The Dallas Cowboys have taken rookie line backer Sean Lee off of nickel duties and asked him to concentrate on special teams. When drafted, the Cowboys thought that his speed would make him an ideal replacement for veteran Keith Brooking on passing downs but Lee missed a considerable portion of training camp because of a quadriceps injury. He has switched to backing up Bradie James. "He (Lee) has got a lot on his plate,'' coach Phillips said.

hes small for a 34 anyway....ST is where he belongs. i would have been so pissed if the steelers took him, they were in love with him for some reason

Not really, he's the same size as James. 6'2 245

IMO he is a Moe, with J-Will as the Mike.

Lee will mostly be one of the NLB this season. J-Will isnt quite ready for that. I think Williams is ready to play Mike right now, but he has been missing some assignments in coverage. As a purely North/South ILB, he would be a leathal blitzer (possibly better than James) and a solid run defender

that's a compliment...the steelers have a history of draffting outstanding linrbackers. I think hr will pan out to be an exellent player.

steelers have a LB friendly system, them drafting outstanding LBs is overrated (except woodley, hes outstanding) and timmons is solid....after that, they didnt draft farrior, fox, harrison, the backups up until this year (which are now worilds and gibson) and guys like haggans and foote were less than average

if hes really like 245 he bulked way up because last i knew he was around 225

    Inclulbus WE ARE! .. Marshall!

steelers LB system is like Denvers RB system.

  8. Lee is not even close to another Carpenter. He's new to the 3-4, missed most of training camp, and has "a lot on his plate". So he'll be backing James instead of Brooking. They are looking elsewhere for knickle/dime packages, because he has not had a chance to learn the coverages.

He did get bounced on some tackles in the Houston game, but looked outstanding attacking the line and gaps in the San Diego game. Good prospect and should be worth the #2 pick.

i know that....except we have legit players there now rather than bums that look great for a year or two and move on elsewhere for a big payday they arent worth.
