The Cowboys beat the Giants in the Jerry Dome Sunday night but it came at a cost: Injuries to two of their best players, quarterback Tony Romo and wide receiver Dez Bryant. But the football gods have seen fit to smile down on Big D; tests on Romo's ribs and Bryant's ankle both came back negative, although Bryant did suffer a sprained ankle, according to ESPNDallas.com.

Romo was injured just before halftime, and Bryant rolled his ankle late in the game after a tackle by Giants safety Ryan Mundy. Bryant hobbled off the field and was visibly frustrated, but it could have been much worse.

Whether he'll be ready to go when the Cowboys travel to Kansas City this Sunday remains to be seen, although Bryant said Sunday night that he was inspired by Romo's toughness, something owner and general manager Jerry Jones echoed.

“You've got to come to the conclusion that this is one tough player, one tough man,â€￾ Jones said.
