Cowboys WR Dez Bryant's Arrest Came After Pushing His Mother

Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant was arrested Monday on a misdemeanor domestic violence charge. Tim MacMahon of ESPNDallas reports a source said late Monday night that Bryant, in an argument with his half brother, wound up pushing his mother, Angela. According to the source, police responded to a call on Saturday night, but no arrests were made at that point. Further examination of the reports resulted in Monday's arrest, the source said. Bryant was charged with a Class A misdemeanor for assaulting a female family member, police told KDFW-TV in Dallas. The woman did not need to be taken to the hospital for her injuries, the report said.

It's bad enough to hit any woman but if you lay a hand on your own mother, you deserve to rot in hell.

 

idk she probably deserved it, shes really amongst the lowest of the low and a crack head of a mother, like i said in the other thread he should really cut her loose, shes nothing but a problem. just because she gave birth to him doesnt mean he owes her unconditional love, he certainly shouldnt have shoved her but i would be very surprised if he wasnt provoked by her.

cut her loose dez, you dont owe her anything. some people have great moms and great families, thats great....others not so much, dez might not have the best head on his shoulders but mommy didnt do anything to help that either

There was major concerns about her causing issues for him when he was drafted. Seems like everyone's concern was justified.

 

I don't know how the heck this became a 'Poor Dez' thread, but you guys are all crazy justifying this dude pushing his mother.

Provoked? Come the heck on. This dude is 6'3, 225? JUST WALK TO YOUR CAR AND DRIVE AWAY. If he had any common sense in that stupid head of his he could avoid all of this trouble he finds himself in over and over.

 

i was more responded to the zomg not your mother rot in hell!!! comment. his mother is a low class crack tramp. hes not in a position to abuse her, but im fairly confident she doesnt make his life any easier.

im sure you are relating to this as an argument with your mother and what you would do, it might not be that simple all the time with a crazy cracked out hood rat for a mom

 

I only laugh about this because Bryant is a Cowboy, but I wont jump to any conclusions yet. I can relate to some of this.

Good woman or not. She may deserve a smack in the face, but Dez shouldn't be the one doing it. Be the man, walk away. Unless she was threatening his life, no contact should have been made. It's about morales, period. Just because his mother doesn't have them, doesn't mean he should lower himself to her standards. Obviously if she's looking to cause trouble, then yes. Cut her loose. That's her loss. But don't harm her physically in doing so.

 

Mama-dukes may have put her hands on him first, women tend to hit men 120x before the guy reacts, he may have simply been trying to get out of the house, and she got in the way.

But I'm just making stuff up, IDK how it went down.

 

Even so, JC. He's likely at least 2 times her size. If she physically harmed him - fine. But it also depends on how hard this "shove" was. Though reports also say that this isn't the first time something like this has happened. Until all the details come out, its hard to make a judgement.

 

True, but I bet millions of people have already decided Dez is dirt for this without knowing half the details.

 

I'm not saying he's dirt. Just think this could have been a stupid decision.

 

I wanna hear all the evidence before I make any conclusions. If he did in fact "hit" his mother then why didn't the police put out a warrant for his arrest when they showed up. She waited a day later before she cried abuse. Something just doesn't add up.

If in fact he did "abuse" her then by all means he needs to be dealt with.

Not trying to make excuses, but I don't want to throw him in the fire until all the evidence is shown.

 

Look for a picture of his mom. She is nearly as tall as him and looks to out weighs him by 50 pounds or more. Plus she likes the ladies and it looks like shes always the man in the relationships.

Ive seen some Lesbians who think they can fight men and win in some cases.

 

I really agree with K, but to be completely honest you really just have to walk away.

 

Moms should be the number one woman in any sons life...just saying...

 

from what i heard from Ike Reese is that he pushed her then smacked her with a baseball cap. lol
