Miles Austin has not signed his tender contract. The two sides don't appear close on any sort of long-term deal. Yet neither side is concerned. Austin will just smile when asked about the subject and diffuse any specific questions by saying he feels good. Owner Jerry Jones has made it clear he wants Austin here and intends to get it done. "I wouldn't want in any way to speculate about that,'' Jones said when asked if he thought Austin would sign his tender soon. "But it's certainly not a contentious issue at this time.''
