In the latest development in the murder case against the man accused of killing Denver Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams, a judge continued the trial to October after it had been set for July. According to Kirk Mitchell of the Denver Post, Willie Clark's lawyers have filed motions to suppress evidence against Willie Clark. Per the report, Clark's attorneys are trying to suppress "incriminating statements made to a detective, a jailhouse wiretap and cellphone records." Source: ProFootballTalk.com
Let them have their continuance. This case is pretty open and shut. The prosecutors are smart by playing everything by the book and allowing the defense to file all the motions now. Let this play its course and watch this killer get whats coming to him.
I kinda miss the guy, Darrent that is... He was really starting to take off as a player. So sad his life was cut way short. RIP man.
