The Ticket, a Dallas sports radio station, announced a couple of hours ago that the Dallas Stars have fired head coach Dave Tippett. Tippett was the Stars head coach for the last six seasons. Rumors are swirling that the Stars are interested in Marc Crawford as their new head coach. The Los Angeles Kings have given the Stars permission to talk to Crawford.
Crawford will be the new Stars head coach. According to The Ticket, the club is going to hold a 2 PM press conference this afternoon to officially announce it.
