David Garrard Expects To Be The Jaguars QB In 2010

    David Garrard figures to still be the team's quarterback next year even if the Jaguars draft one to be their quarterback of the future. "Hopefully they understand all of the different circumstances that are going on and evaluate from there," Garrard said. "I'm not worried about that. They're going to make their decisions and I have to live with it. Hopefully they can see through all the weeds and understand all of the different things that are going on." Complicating the situation is the fact that Garrard is down for a $7.975 million salary next year. Since there won't be a salary cap next year, the Jaguars can pay it if they want to, but there's always a chance they'd ask him to take a pay cut.
