Giants coach Tom Coughlin benched running back David Wilson after he fumbled twice and struggled in pass protection during a 36-31 loss Sunday against the Cowboys. After the game, Coughlin voiced his displeasure with the second-year running back. "They’re not going to play unless they can hang onto the ball," Coughlin said, per the New York Daily News. "It’s demoralizing to the whole team." Wilson faced a similar situation last season when he lost a fumble in the opener against the Cowboys. He spent several months in the doghouse before re-emerging late in the season. Unfortunately, the Giants don't have the same luxury in 2013 since Ahmad Bradshaw is now with Indianapolis and Andre Brown is sidelined by a broken leg. Source: CBS Sports
