DeMarcus Ware has become the Dallas Cowboys' career sacks leader.

Ware matched Harvey Martin's 30-year-old franchise record with his 114th in the first half Sunday against St. Louis, and got his second of the game to surpass Martin in the third quarter.

Sacks became an official NFL statistic in 1982. Based on that, Ware had surpassed Jim Jeffcoat's 94½ two seasons ago.

But the Cowboys have tracked sacks since the start of their franchise in 1960.

Local sports radio station 105.3 The Fan does a segment every Monday after a Cowboys game where people can submit fake headlines about the game. One listener suggested, "Ware is Canton?"
