Raiders QB Matt Flynn threw an interception, fumbled twice and only led one offensive scoring drive against a Redskins defense that was statistically the worst defense in NFL history after three weeks. When asked about Flynn's performance, Raiders coach Dennis Allen didn't sugarcoat anything. "I don't think he saw the field very good," Allen said, via the Raiders team website. "Offensively, we didn't get it done and that's really the bottom line. Matt didn't play well and we have to move on." Source: NFL.com SteveRobWhatever's Take: I think Matt's still holding on to the ball looking for someone to throw to. I can understand that he's a bit rusty from having the youngsters take his job year in and year out but seriously, can you have some sort of mental clock to get rid of the ball? They better hope Terrelle Pryor's head is on straight for next week because Flynn is hot garbage, plain and simple.
His confidence has to be destroyed now. Lose your job to Wilson and Pryor back to back years. And now the coach gets on you publicly ouch
