Well, for me, its now time to root for the broncos to lose. I'm already sick of the "unbeatable" and "16-0" talk about this team everywhere.
was thinking more along the lines of this[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlI8Ie9YVJA]You Can Do It Waterboy - YouTube[/ame]
the line on this one opened up denver -3.5 and has move all the way to denver -8. i think people are going overboard with this 'broncos are unbeatable' thing. a team that has weapons on their passing offense and a good pass rush and secondary will beat them. i'm not sure i would say the cowboys fit that formula because their defense leaves something to be desired, but i'm not ready to crown the Broncos 19-0 champs yet, as many seem to be doing.
Did anyone notice in the Eagles-Broncos game that in their last 4 drives of the game, the Broncos didn't face a single third down? That's what makes me fearful about this game.
If our defense plays like they did last week Manning and company will put up 60 on us. Denver wins easily.. Dallas 17 Denver 48 Denver will get beat eventually, it just wont be this week.
Question is Ragman.. Can we actually execute? Cause you know that is exactly what the coaching staff is thinking.
absolutely. the broncos are scoring touchdowns on probably 50% of their possessions this season, which is sick. coupling a good defense that can reduce that td %, either by stops or forcing fg's, with an offense that can eat up clock, score td's themselves, and limit the # of bronco possessions will be the formula for beating them. it's not rocket surgery. it's just going to take the right team with the right game plan.
That's no secret...that and pressuring Manning have been the keys to beating Peyton for years...it's just that very few teams can do it when he has the "team" around him...which he does now...and now he has something that resembles a defense...which he didn't have during his tenure in Indy.
patriots, chiefs, saints, and seahawks would all have decent chances of knocking them off right now. they all have the defenses to possibly contain peyton and the offenses to eat up some possesions. we'll see how the season progresses and who is playing well enough in january to give them a challenge. that's a long way off.
Patriots don't have the offense at the moment to keep Peyton off the field for a decent amount of time...they also have a very large hole in the D-Line that's not gonna help.
Yea dude I think the Broncos would heck the pats up right now. I'm just hoping by the end of the season we'll have a shot.
Last time the a Peyton manning led team was undefeated the cowboys beat them. Y'all. Can sit here and wallow in self doubt and pity and say the cowboys don't stand a chance but I won't succumb to this. Any team always has a fighters chance to win.
