After more than a year in the making, the House That Derek Jeter Built, the biggest home in Hillsborough County, is finished. On Wednesday, Tampa's building department issued a certificate of occupancy for the famed Yankee shortstop who calls Tampa his permanent home. The $7.7 million house dwarfs surrounding homes on Bahama Circle in Davis Islands. Construction began on the 30,000-square-foot, seven-bedroom, nine-bath mansion early last year. The mansion is nearly the size of a Best Buy electronics store and currently is the biggest house, square-footage-wise, in the county. Source The Tampa Tribune
Yes La Jolla California, read that wrong thought it said biggest in the country, didn't think it was possible since La Jolla is all old money...
Holy crap. :icon_eek: I'd love to see inside pics of Jeter's place. Hell I'd scrub toilets in his house if it paid more than I make at my job.
I don't think you would...not for Derek Jeter. Maybe Chase Utley, but you wouldn't sell out to a Yankee...:icon_cheesygrin:
Wow, I'd love to hang out in that place for a weekend. I wonder what bells and whistles are in there.
