One reason Chris Palmer is out as the Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator has to do with his players not always being 100 percent sold on him, according to TitanInsider. Citing sources, the players and perhaps even some assistant coaches felt a disconnect with Palmer and his offense. Ultimately, the end result on the field was what did Palmer in, and the Titans rank 24th in the league in offense with players like Chris Johnson, Kenny Britt and Kendall Wright among others, whom they believe have big play potential. When the Titans were unable to finish drives in Jacksonville on Sunday, then Coach Mike Munchak decided it was time for the team and Palmer to go their separate ways. But when players are not "on the same page" or do not communicate a lot with their offensive coordinator, it certainly plays a far bigger role when a team is 4-7. Source: National Football Post
