    1) If the Jets are mentally on their game, the Dolphins and Patriots can't compete with their talent in the AFCE.

    2) If the Steelers keep playing defense like the first 3 weeks, the Ravens and Bengals can't compete with them in the AFCN.

    3) If Vick keeps playing like this, the Eagles will win the NFCE.......... Unless Wade and Garrett game-plan and play call consistently well every week, then the Cowboys can't be beat.

    4) For some reason, the Saints have looked very uninterested in playing football thus far. If they keep that attitude up, the Falcons will run away with the NFCS.

    5) I'm still not sure which NFCW team can make it to 8 wins, but at this point, the Seahawks appear to be the only team capable.

    What about the other divisions?

    The Henne Marshall connection is slowly coming to life. Now if Dan Henning would become a better OC then the Dolphins would be much better off. I didn't get to watch the other games so I really can't say how everything went down, but I think it might be time to change the HC in San Fran, and move Singletary to DC so he can focus all his attention on that because they are playing so poorly.

    it's being reported that the niners have fired jimmy raye so singletary's hc position must be safe for a while at least. i think they will give him at least until the end of the season.

    my observation is that NFC east blows. But unfortunately so do the Giants.

    If Cassel can do what he did against the 49ers, which is throwing for at least 200 yards a game, the Chiefs should be in about every game. He HAS to work on keeping drives going and limiting turnovers. No one's asking him to throw 50 times and win a game, just manage it!

    The rest of the AFCW looks very mediocre. The Chargers have 0 special teams, the Broncos are a lot better than I thought, but their lack of a running game will end up killing them. The Raiders have no offense and I wouldn't be surprised if they take a look at Trent Edwards, because Campbell looks like he wasn't the answer and Gradkowski will never be anything more than a stopgap.

    With the Chiefs schedule I think they have a real shot at the AFC West this season. Our schedule isn't that tough after we get past the Colts and Texans (hoping they don't destroy our confidence).

    @Colts (Loss)
    @Texans (Loss)
    Jaguars (Win)
    Bills (Win)
    @Raiders (Win)
    @Broncos (Loss)
    Cardinals (Win)
    @Seahawks (Loss)
    Broncos (Win)
    @Chargers (Loss)
    @Rams (Win)
    Titans (Loss)
    Raiders (Win)

    10-6 is very doable with this schedule I think

    I'm really leaning towards the Chiefs losing to the Seahawks. Their home field advantage is a lot like ours at Arrowhead and they have a lot of young talent.
