since they now have a couple of young, better cornerbacks that have taken over primary responsibilities from Champ Bailey in their secondary, their pass defense is solid. we know their front 7 is one of the best in the league, with some dominant pass rushers and a group of guys that are solid against the run.

On offense, they have a hall of fame QB and a good stable of receivers. Their weakness is probably in their running game. Their run blockers and run schemes are just so-so, their stable of RB's is average or below average, especially now that McGahee is out.

Fortunately for the Broncos, the teams they are most likely going to face in the AFC playoffs all have crapty pass defenses, unless the steelers can somehow sneak in.

if you are believer that defenses win playoff games, right now your favorite would clearly be the Broncos if the Steelers don't sneak in. The Texans and Bengals are the only other AFC playoff teams with a decent defense. The Pats, Ravens, and Colts defenses are all crap.
