For the first time in his brief career, Miami Dolphins right guard Donald Thomas will not start a game in which he is healthy as Nate Garner, the fast-rising second-year man from Arkansas, will start in Thomas' place at right guard Sunday against the Jaguars, with Justin Smiley making his first start at left guard since Nov. 8 at New England. Meanwhile, Jake Grove, as announced Saturday, will sit out his third straight game with a high ankle sprain suffered two plays into the second half at Carolina on Nov. 19. Remaining inactives for the Dolphins are third quarterback Tyler Thigpen, running back Kory Sheets, linebacker Erik Walden, offensive tackle Andrew Gardner, defensive ends Lionel Dotson and Ikaika Alama-Francis and wide receiver Patrick Turner.
