Change in the secondary seemed inevitable when Miami finished 25th in the league against the pass last season. It became a focal point when cornerback Andre Goodman and free safety Renaldo Hill left in free agency, and a necessity when the schedule revealed that the Dolphins would face quarterbacks Matt Ryan, Peyton Manning and Philip Rivers in the first three games. Eric Green and incumbent Will Allen lined up as the starting corners at the first workouts of the year this week, but the line behind them is long and full of potential, from Davis and Smith to holdovers Nate Jones and Jason Allen.
