Dolphins Coach Tony Sparano Won't Rule Out Bringing Brett Favre To Miami

Discussion in 'Miami Dolphins' started by BigBlueBruiser, Aug 4, 2011.

  1. If Brett Favre interested in playing yet another season it appears the Miami Dolphins would like to be considered as a possible landing spot for this 41-year old future Hall of Famer. "I can't rule anything out," coach Tony Sparano said when asked directly about a column the Sun-Sentinel published, advocating on Favre's behalf. Sparano pointed out the Dolphins aren't scared to add aging players by mentions Tiki Barber's workout on Tuesday, and the fact defensive end Jason Taylor was re-signed earlier this week. Favre, who has played 20 seasons, has a relationship with new Dolphins offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, who served as his quarterback coach during his one season with the Jets. If Favre came to Miami he'd be familiar with Daboll's offense and terminology, which means it likely wouldn't take him long to learn the offense. He's only a week behind the rest of the team.

And I thought the QB debacle in Arizona last year was a heckin' mess. This just gets better in Miami.

...Are..You...Serious? Why can't he just sit in his rocking char in Mississippi..and let the NFL teams plummit to new lows on their own..WITHOUT him driving the ship down. Seriously. Wasn't last year's butt beating bad enough? Do you REALLY want to play the Jets and Patriots twice a year? Really.

Isn't this the same coach that just stood up for Chad Henne and declared him the starting QB? I wonder how Chad Henneh feels now.
