Dolphins GM Asked WR Dez Bryant If Mom Was A Prostitute

New Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant tells Yahoo! Sports that a Dolphins executive asked him during a predraft visit if his mother was a prostitute. "They asked me if my mom's a prostitute," Bryant told Michael Silver. Bryant's advisor David Wells, who attended the meeting. Said Bryant: "No, my mom is not a prostitute. I got mad – really mad – but I didn't show it. I got a lot of questions like that: Does she still do drugs? I sat and answered all of them." Yahoo! reported, citing an anonymous source that it was Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland who asked the question, Ireland, a former vice president of scouting for the Dallas Cowboys and who works under Miami's executive vice president Bill Parcells, declined to comment to Yahoo! Harvey Greene, the Dolphins' senior vice president of media relations, said: "It's our organizational policy that we don't discuss publicly the process we use to evaluate potential draft choices."

Sounds like he passed the test.

 

Every teams does things like this. It's used to purposely provoke emotions. To evaluate a prospect mentally.

 

Somehow I seriously doubt if Tebow or Bradford or even Myron Rolle was asked that question.

 

Rolle was asked by one scout "how it felt to quit on his team"

 

The general idea behind these questions is to ask the most hecked up question imaginable.

Tebow was probably asked if he ever got laid.

 

Probably worse.

 

If his mom was a prostitute he wouldn't have grown up as poor as he did. At least then she'd have been bringing money in instead of spending it on crack. He should be mad at her not the Dolphins
