Jim Miller, a former NFL quarterback and current Chicago Bears television analyst, appeared late last week on a South Florida radio station and called into question Henne's toughness. Miller suggested Henne could have played through his shoulder injury and that Henne had "packed it in." Henne heard the comments and bristled at their mention on Monday. "I'll play through anything," Henne said. "I'm a tough guy and I just – it's a shame that that has to come out and people criticize you for [something] that they don't know about." Henne also reiterated how badly he wanted to continue playing this season. "Coming out with it not knowing the injury and really it's not knowing the person I am," Henne said of Miller's comments. "Because I wanted to be gung-ho about this and I'm gung-ho about this team and playing here and being all about the Dolphins. So it's just a shame that it has to come out." Henne didn't detail the specifics of his shoulder injury but he said that doctors in addition to the separation "found other things out that weren't good news."
