The Dolphins’ already-disastrous season got even worse when quarterback Chad Henne left Sunday’s 26-16 loss to the Chargers with a left shoulder injury. Henne suffered the injury to his non-throwing shoulder with 6:03 left in the first quarter when diving ahead for yardage after a botched handoff to backup running back Lex Hilliard. Henne left the locker room in a sling and said he will have a better idea of the extent of the injury on Monday after he visits the doctor. But Henne was optimistic that the injury wouldn’t slow him down for the long term. “I can rip this arm off, and as long as I can post the ball up I think I can play,â€￾ Henne said. “I’ve had shoulder injuries in college and high school and I played through it, so I expect to play through it again.â€￾
