Quarterback Ryan Tannehill wants to get the ball to receiver Mike Wallace against Indianapolis on Sunday, but Tannehill said he won’t force the ball to Miami’s big offseason acquisition, Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post reports. Wallace was upset after catching just one pass for 15 yards in Sunday’s season-opening victory against Cleveland. Asked in the post-game locker room about his lack of production, he said, “Ask Coach. It’s not my game plan.†Wallace later said he was angry at himself for a poor performance. Tannehill said Wednesday that it’s not his job to determine Wallace’s role. “I’m going to play the quarterback position the way coaches install the plays; I’m going to go through the reads just like they install it,†Tannehill said. “We’re going to try to get him the ball when he’s in the play, but we’re not going to force him the ball.†Source: The Redzone
