The Miami Dolphins appear ready to take the bubble wrap from around first-round pick Dion Jordan.

Jordan, the third overall pick in the 2013 draft, has been sidelined for most of the past three weeks while rehabbing his surgically repaired left shoulder.

But during Monday's practice, which begins the team's preparation for Sunday's season-opener against the Cleveland Browns, the unpolished pass rusher practiced without limitations during the team's special teams period, and individual drills.

It is unknown how much Jordan participated during the team's contact sessions. His participation status won't be clarified until Wednesday, when NFL rules mandate teams clarify each player's injury and practice participation.
