The New York Jets host the Miami Dolphins at New Meadowlands Stadium on Sunday 12/12/10. Kickoff time is 4:15 pm EST Discuss….
it will be interesting to see how the jets rebound this week. will they have a short memory or will an implosion begin?
A member of the Jets training staff just kicked out his leg and tripped a Dolphin ST gunner - one of the most classless things I have ever seen in the NFL - Screw the Jets, I hope their players get hurt.
So because somebody on their training staff who won't have a job this time tomorrow did something stupid you hope their players get hurt? Ain't you classy.
I wouldn't worry about it that much......the Jets historically collapse after suffering a huge loss in a big game and falter down the stretch. The 1986 Jets started 10-1....then lost 45-3 to the Dolphins in their 12th game (that final score is awfully familiar :icon_cheesygrin:), and didn't win another game that season. They finished 10-6 and still made the playoffs, but lost in the divisional round in a extremely rare double OT contest against the Cleveland Browns. With the Jets offense scoring just 9 points in the last two games.....I don't like the Jets' chances on making the playoffs. I foresee another 1986 Jets style of collapse in the '10 Jets and not win another game and finish out of the playoff picture at 9-7. Remaining schedule: December 19 @ Pittsburgh Steelers December 26 @ Chicago Bears January 2 vs. Buffalo Bills I wouldn't think that their finale against Buffalo will be a cakewalk.....the Bills play hard every week. The Jets could very well end up 9-6 heading into that game, needing a win just to remain alive in the playoff picture....depending on how the final week of the regular season plays out.
