Dolphins WR Mike Wallace Tweets, Then Deletes, Reaction To Jason Collins

Jason Collins' announcement on Monday that he is gay has been met with an outpouring of support from the NBA community in the form of statements from the league and tweets from current and former players.

Unfortunately, a brief flicker of intolerance showed up thanks to new Miami Dolphins receiver Mike Wallace. "All these beautiful women in the world and guys wanna mess with other guys SMH..." He has since deleted the tweet, but you can see it below, because the Internet never forgets. He later added: "I'm not bashing anybody don't have anything against anyone I just don't understand it. ... Never said anything was right or wrong I just said I don't understand!! Deeply sorry for anyone that I offended".

Wasn't really bashing anything. I'm all for equality, but heck, are people over-sensitive much? He likes women more than men and said so, he didn't degrade anyone or talk any crap.

He didnt say anything really wrong. There was no real intolerance to it and like he said he doesnt understand it he never said it was wrong or anything.
