im not so sure with the saints. first the saints will have to start the aging fred tomas to have a chance. this clown we picked up is killing us. secondly drew brees has to stop cfreaking down every freaking play. he needs to be the slinger he was last year. the wr need to step it up. we should have made a run for randy moss. third we need to get consistant play from our oline. if 2 of the 3 can be consistant we have a chance, if not it going to be the longest year ever in saints history. with the high expectations we had going into the season and for them to blow it hurts more than going 0-16 IMO. with the saints history who knows when this feeling of a true winner will occur again.

The problem with the Eagles, which I posted in the teams thread, is that the Eagles used to be able to win with crappy players like Thrash and Pinkston. The NFC is still crap, but not as crappy as it used to be. Some teams stepped forward, while the Eagles didn't change alot of their philosophy. Between Reid's off-field problems and McNabb's horrible play, it's going to be a long season.

But then again, I could be wrong and the Eagles could rattle off 10 straight wins.

 

I think the Eagles can be better than what they have shown, they lost to the Pack because of special teams gaffes and to the Skins because they were misfiring. They are not playing well but they are not flat out stinking.

The Saints will get better offensively but their defense stinks and will be a problem all year.

 

Of the 30 playoff teams in the past three seasons, only one -- last year's Kansas City Chiefs -- began the season 0-2.
