The final injury report heading into the Eagles-Bears game on Sunday Night Football has been released. There are two Eagles players who have been ruled out. Everyone else has been ruled as probable or better. The two players ruled out are both safeties: Colt Anderson and Kurt Coleman. Anderson is mainly a special teams contributor. He currently leads the team in special teams tackles so his absence is not a good sign for the special teams unit. Coleman also primarily plays special teams, but did see some time on the field during last week's Eagles-Vikings game. These injuries leave the Eagles with four healthy safeties on the roster: Nate Allen, Earl Wolff, Patrick Chung, and recently promoted Keelan Johnson. Johnson will likely be making his NFL debut while playing on the ST unit versus the Bears. As for the good news, Brandon Boykin has been ruled probable. Boykin returned to practice on Thursday after missing time earlier in the week due to a concussion he suffered against the Vikings. Boykin will take his usual role at the slot cornerback on defense. A few players are returning from injury. Earl Wolff is scheduled to play for the first team since the Eagles-Packers game in Week 10. Wolff's addition aims to bolster a struggling secondary. Wolff will likely start in place of Patrick Chung, who's been filling in during Wolff's absence. Najee Goode is also returning from injury. His impact is critical to a special teams unit that's lacking Coleman and Anderson.
