Donnie Jones has won the punter battle in Philadelphia after the Eagles released punter Brad Wing and nine other players on Sunday.

After Wing went undrafted in the 2013 NFL Draft, Philadelphia signed the Australian to compete with Jones as the team's punter.

Wing averaged 40.6 yards on eight punts in two preseason games. Meanwhile, Jones averaged 48.3 yards on three punts in Saturday's win over the Jaguars.

The Eagles also released tight ends Derek Carrier and Will Shaw, wide receiver Nick Miller, defensive tackle Eddie McClam, tackle Nic Purcell, defensive lineman/offensive lineman Isaac Remington, defensive lineman Daryell Walker, long snapper James Winchester and cornerback Eddie Whitley.
