The Philadelphia Eagles don't intend to place linebacker Stewart Bradley on season-ending injured reserve, a team source said Wednesday. That means rookie Jamar Chaney literally will be thrust into the middle of the NFC East rivalry with the New York Giants on Sunday, when he makes his first career start at middle linebacker. Chaney, a seventh-round draft pick out of Mississippi State last April, replaced Bradley early in the second quarter of a 30-27 victory over the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday. Bradley dislocated his right elbow after jumping over a Cowboys player and awkwardly landing on the arm. Doctors believe Bradley could be back in four weeks, and the Eagles plan to keep his roster spot available.
