Eagles Offensive Lineman Shawn And Stacy Andrews Need To Improve

  1. Eagles right tackle Shawn Andrews said on a Philadelphia-area radio show that after two seasons without much playing because of complications with back injuries that he "owes" it to head coach Andy Reid to come back to full strength and brother Stacy Andrews joined the Eagles before last season but hardly made a dent as he slowly recovered from offseason knee surgery. Even down the stretch, he remained on the bench in favor of Max Jean-Gilles when injuries crept up along the line, although Reid said Stacy's health was the reason, many believed Andrews simply hadn't played well enough to earn a spot. Shawn, who is five weeks removed from surgery and facing a six-month rehab, likely could miss the start of training camp and while Stacy will be healthy he certainly won't be handed a starting job at the start of camp.
