Eagles QB Donovan McNabb will likely be invited to his sixth Pro Bowl and first since 2004. Players whose teams are in the Super Bowl are unable to play in the Pro Bowl, and either New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees or Minnesota Vikings QB Brett Favre will be forced to withdraw from the game. McNabb was chosen as the first alternate for the team. Source: Philadelphia Daily News
Over Warner and Eli?? They both have more TDs, more yards, and better ratings than McNabb -- and both beat eventual playoff teams during the season. I call shenanigans.
mcnabb was better then eli this year and the giants sucked so that doesent look good. have to take into account mcnabb was out for 2 and a half games
I'd make a case for Romo too, but that would start an old pointless discussion and I'm not in the mood to go there.
McNabb is first in line since hes a first alternate. Warner is a third alternate and Eli is a fourth alternate. I understand how your feeling though.
Garcia prolly deserved it more than Romo in 2006 but he wasnt on the ballott So I can except this in a "making it right with the universe" kinda way
I'd agree with that -- although Romo did bump his stats up during the final couple games after the ProBowl votes were in. The other two really didn't. But I do agree that Romo could have just as easily been chosen over McNabb.
I think of all the nfc qbs romo improved the most in alot of diffrent ways as a leader and play wise. He made alot of big plays when you thought the play was dead this year. Glad mcnabb got it so i could see him play again before the offseason but romo was the better qb this year. :word03:ukeface:
Which IMO is another reason why the Pro Bowl is meaningless Similar to Garcia in 2006 when he wasnt on the ballot
The source is from a Philadelphia news site, and says it's likely. Which means nothing. Quit getting all worked up about a Pro Bowl nod, people. **********Automerged Doublepost********** This.
