Eagles coach Chip Kelly told reporters Monday that his second-string quarterback will take first-team reps in Tuesday's practice as Michael Vick continues to nurse a tweaked hamstring, per the team's official website. "I don't know if (Vick) will be able to practice," said Kelly. And we don't know why Kelly would do anything but give Foles another shot to play after he torched Oakland for an NFL-record-tying seven touchdowns in Sunday's 49-20 romp over the Raiders. Foles was lights out against the Raiders and showed a command that the team has been lacking at the position for a long time. Vick's time has more than likely run out in Philly.
Kelly refuses to name a starting qb becuase still in his mind none of these guys are his starter. Logic dictates foles is ur guy for the rest of the year.
Unless Foles gets hurt and the Eagles are still in the hunt for the division when it happens...no need to see Vick the rest of the season. Funny comment I read on one of the articles about Foles:
