The Philadelphia Eagles added quarterback Vince Young during the offseason as an insurance policy against an injury to starter Michael Vick. That plan might finally be ready to be put into place. Eagles coach Andy Reid told us this week that Young is fully recovered from a preseason hamstring injury. That likely makes Young -- and not Mike Kafka, who threw two interceptions in last week's loss to the Giants -- as the No. 2 behind Michael Vick. The Philadelphia Inquirer reported Saturday that Young is the "likely replacement" should Vick aggravate his bruised hand or leave yet another game with an injury. Source: NFL.com
