Eagles RB LeSean McCoy Could Be In Line For A Contract Extension

    Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy could get a contract extension according to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer. The third year running back believes he will have a big year. "I feel this is the year I separate myself from all the other backs," said McCoy. "You have an elite group of guys. You got the guys that are up and coming, and then you go to the average guys. So I'm trying to get up there with the elite guys, and I think this is the year it happens." McCoy shares the same high-profile agent in Drew Rosenhaus as does teammate DeSean Jackson who has been lobbying for a new contract from the club.

    If LeSean gets a contract extension before DeSean that's a crime.

    ^This, it will be a complete slap in the face to give a RB a contract extension if he has one good year when a WR who has proven the last two years he is an elite player gets squat.
