Sports Illustrated draft analyst Tony Pauline reports that the Philadelphia Eagles’ target, if they trade up to the top ten picks in the draft, would be Mississippi State DT Fletcher Cox, citing “several sourcesâ€. The Eagles have shown interest in Texas A&M quarterback Ryan Tannehill, having hosted a private workout for him. Cox also worked out for Philadelphia. One spot that the Eagles could move into is #7, which is currently occupied by the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars are apparently looking to trade down, and any team looking to move up to that spot is most likely looking to draft a high-caliber pass rusher or Tannehill. Source: NFL Trade Rumors
He would be a great pick. Excellent DT prospect, would be everything they wanted Bunkley to be Sent from my HTC PH39100 using Tapatalk 2
You have to think that Reid can't afford to move up and take a "flyer" on Tannehill at this point and stage in his career...
if cox is there when the eagles pick, they should absolutely take him but they shouldn't trade up to get him.
my earliest wish list for the eagles in FA & the draft was - get FA MLB (lofton) - i think i can settle for ryans get brockers at #15 unless the eagles are trading up for barron i say stay at #15. get the best guy that can make an impact "this year"
