The Eagles have acquired wide receiver Arrelious Benn and a seventh-round pick from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for Philadelphia's sixth-round choice this year and a conditional draft pick in 2014. Benn, a second-round selection (39th overall) by the Buccaneers in 2010, has 59 receptions for 862 yards and five touchdowns in three seasons. He led the Buccaneers with 13 kickoff returns for 306 yards in only eight games last year before a knee injury ended his season. In 2011, Benn had career highs in catches (30), yards receiving (441) and touchdowns (3). Benn is the ninth player acquired by the Eagles since the start of free agency. Source: Associated Press
But there's absolutely NO reason to make this trade. We have 3 fantastic starting WR's and 2 pretty decent ones behind that. No reason to have 6 WR's on the roster and this dude isn't that big of a difference maker at KR /PR to justify a waste of a draft pick, 6th rounder or not.
Clearly Chip sees something in him. To get a guy who was rated and drafted that high only a few years ago and who might work out as a larger receiver that we've needed for what seems to be an eternity for what ultimately means only moving down 16 spots in the 6th round to the 7th round? I'll do it every single day. Next to no risk.
 one of them actually made about 8 yards but overall i think they're still in negative yards total.
