The Philadelphia Eagles have reached agreement on a blockbuster intra-division trade that will send perennial Pro Bowl quarterback Donovan McNabb to the Washington Redskins, according to multiple sources close to the situation. The two sides still must finalize language, but Adam Schefter reports that Mcnabb was dealt to the Redskins for a 2nd-round pick this year and either a 3rd or 4th round pick next year depending on certain conditions. The move leaves the Eagles with Kevin Kolb as their starter, and makes Michael Vick the backup while McNabb's addition in the Nation's Capital likely signals the end of Jason Campbell's time in Washington. I don't know how that is an epic win for Dallas. Washington always plays us tough...now they have a legitimate QB. If Kolb or Vick plays good enough I think the division just got tougher.
Washington will need at least one year with him before they do ANYTHING, haha bring on kolb and Vick, thats a scary duo.
From what I've heard, rumor is were going to trade him to Oakland for a pick and their CB that's nasty, I can't think of his name right now.
Is it me or the past two years Philly has let its hometown hero's loose? Dawkins, Westbrook, and now mcnabb? Weird.
Word on philly.com is it's for the 37 pick and a conditional 4th to 3rd next year. That's it Schefter twitted it saying it's a fact : (
HTTR, Nnamdi Asomugha is who you're thinking about but I think it's stupid for the Raiders to lose their best player
LOL. 2nd round and 3rd or 4th next year, definitely a steal. Thanks Sweets, that's who I was thinking of.
