Eagles' beat writer Jeff McLane is reporting on Twitter that WR Hank Baskett hyperextended his knee. He is being considered day-to-day. The injury isnt considered serious. Source: Jeff McLane,Twitter
You dont think the eagles will keep 6 wrs? I think he would stay just because hes our only big receiver. Hes 6 4 and none of our other receivers are that big. I dont see reggie brown being cut right now cause hes had a great camp. So if we dont keep 6 your probably right hes the odd man out. desean curtis maclin reggie brown avant baskett
How has Mascot been doing Havent heard much from him, maybe he is off curing cancer with the pure determination that ooze's from his pours
That 6th spot is interesting... before Basketts injury my gut says he wasn't getting it.... I doubt it goes to mascot either. I think it goes to Gibson
Please, God, let Baskett be cut and signed by the Cowboys (practice squad or something) just to see BitB stuck with that screen name forever :icon_cheesygrin:
Im posting a celebration thread if Baskett is cut Yes, I have a man crush on baskett and Im not afraid to admit it
Eh the name is more to do with what a commentator said then just hank baskett. This is the way the name got created it was first made for footballforum.com. I was sitting there watching pregame of a preseaon game while on the computer. They start talking about this undrafted free agent that is 6 foot 4 physical reciever and merril reese starts talking about how good he looked. Then what he said next was just epic "This guy should be a good addition to the eagles WRs all you need to do to be succsesfull is put the ball in the baskett". So really dont care if he gets cut it was a epic statement.
This would be the theme song of the day if baskett ever changes's his username [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmrgN4FuOGQ"]YouTube - Nine Inch Nails- The Day The World Went Away[/ame]
