East- West Shrine Week Risers And Sinkers

  1. The East- West Shrine week ended on Saturday.

    Risers: [IMG]

    WR Terrence Toliver LSU

Toliver had a great week and proved he is better than his stats would indicate. I'm a huge fan of Toliver and think he has a ton of potential. He was easily the most polished WR there and earned an invite to the Senior Bowl.

    RB Delone Carter Syracuse

Carter had a big week. He was the offensive game MVP. A little short at only 5'9 he proved he is a good player throughout the week.

    CB Justin Rogers Richmond

Rogers, from a small school, needed a big week and he delivered. The best CB by far on either team.

    TE Jordan Cameron USC

Cameron was a relative unknown entering the week. However, he showed elite athleticism and the ability to block.

    DT Brandon Bair Oregon

Bair did a nice job during the week. He showed nice strength, pass rush moves, and the ability to hold up vs. a double team.

    Sinkers: [IMG]

CB Demarcus Van d**e Miami (U.)

How in the world this guy got an invite to the senior bowl is beyond me. He had a terrible week and showed he didn't have the feet and hips to perform well in man coverage. He was the worse CB on either team.

    DE/LB Chris Carter Fresno St.

Carter was thought of as being a potentially nice 3-4 OLB. However, it became obvious very early on he wouldn't be able to play OLB. He lacks the athleticism and coverage skills necessary to play the spot.

    WR Terrance Turner Indiana

Turner was the worse of the WR's at the game. He ran poor routes, dropped passes, and generally was just not effective.

    QB Jerrod Johnson Texas a&m

Johnson lost his starting QB job during the year in college due to turn overs, poor footwork, and a delivery that is not compact. He proved during the week all those and more issues over and over again. Most people now think he will have to change positions.

    QB Pat Devlin Delaware

The former Penn St. transfer was seen as the next Joe Flacco. However, this week he proved he was nowhere near the same level. Devlin was rated as a top 10 QB prospect entering the week but showed less than above average arm strength. His accuracy was shaky and he just was not very impressive.

Talk about someone who's stock has plummeted, wow. Remember when people were saying he was up there with Terrelle Pryor?

  3. yeah it's crazy. I can't think of many guys whose stock has gone in the toilet like his. A guy that comes to mind is Jevan Snead.

Christian Hairston really surprised the hell out of me.

  5. if you watched him in college you wouldn't be surprised. I really like him as a developmental type guy. I think he can really help a team at RT or OG.

I did watch him all year ass-hole, and i was still impressed by him (does that bother you).
I was impressed by Hairston's play at LT, I'm sure he could move inside with ease but he really showed he could play LT in the league.

    texas watch the personal attacks.

  9. no. But given the comments you've made so far I doubt you've watched much college football.

Hairston has great technique with his kick slide and is an agile player. I think he is a developmental guy that could eventually be a starter in the league. I have him in the 4th round right now.

A different opinion than yours doesn't mean I don't watch football ( but i'm the 1 with personal attacks)
Quit thinking your the only 1 with a right opinion and move his butt up to the 2nd round. lol

It will be fun watching who goes up in the draft, I think Christian Hairston is an obvious 1.

  11. I'm saying if you really think Amukamara isn't a top 5 CB then idk if you do watch games.

i don't and I know I'm not the only one right.

lol hell no. I think he is a developmental guy he still needs technique work.

Nobody watches football but u adammwilson, and i can tell u have never been wrong.

How about getting your own opinion, have u ever had an original thought? and then u want to talk down on people who do, realize what u hear and read about these draft prospects is just someone's opinion and there not always right. Is this your 1st year doing the draft or what?

You're the worst kind of football fan that acts like they've been head coaching for 30 years and won 15 SB's, I can't even have a conversation about my top corners because it's different than yours. You've got to be like 13 years old or something, sheesh.
