The numbers don’t look good when it comes to the Jaguars’ pass defense entering Sunday’s home finale against Tennessee. Interceptions: 10 (tied for 23rd). Yards per game: 249.9 (22nd). Completions of more than 20 yards: 59 (Second-most). The Jaguars’ calculated gamble last off-season was to blow up their secondary to get younger, faster and more physical across the board. It included an almost entirely new defensive back group.
