Rays manager Joe Maddon announced after Friday's game that third baseman Evan Longoria will remain sidelined indefinitely because of a hamstring injury, according to Tampa Bay Online. A three-time All-Star, Longoria has been sidelined with a partially torn left hamstring since April 30. Longoria denied he aggravated the injury while on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Durham on June 18. "It's not right around the corner," Maddon told the website of Longoria's return following Friday's 10-3 win over the Cleveland Indians. The Rays are 29-32 since Longoria went down. Source ESPN
