Cincinnati Bengals free agent wide receiver Jerome Simpson will be suspended for three games under the league's substance abuse policy, an NFL source told Adam Schefter of ESPN. Simpson has visited the Minnesota Vikings and St. Louis Rams, and still is expected to sign with a team for this season. Simpson was sentenced earlier this month to 15 days in jail and three years' probation after pleading guilty to a felony drug charge in Kentucky. He was originally indicted on a felony charge of marijuana trafficking after about two pounds of marijuana was shipped to his home last fall, but the plea agreement changed the charge to a prohibited act relating to controlled substances.
