Ex-Broncos Coach Josh McDaniels A Candidate For 49ers Job?

  1. ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reports the 49ers are looking for an offensive head coach, and potential candidates could include Stanford head coach John Harbaugh, Falcons offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey, and most interestingly recently fired head coach Josh McDaniels. The 49ers are expected to hire a General Manager before hiring a head coach and according CEO Jed York, the GM will be responsible for hiring the head coach. Everyone around the league expects 49ers Vice President Trent Baalke to be promoted to GM. The 49ers reportedly are going to put on a full-court press to woo Harbaugh after the Orange Bowl Monday.

  2. I think 49er fans will burn York at the stake if he even considers hiring McDaniels......
