Ex-CFL Coach Mike Kelly A Candidate For Panthers' Assistant Position

  1. New Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera is starting the process of putting together his coaching staff. Rivera said during his introductory press conference Tuesday that he had an idea of the coaches he wanted to interview. Sources told FOXSports.com that former CFL assistant coach and head coach Mike Kelly is on Rivera’s list of possible assistant coach hires. It’s believed that Kelly is being considered for a job as an assistant on the offensive side of the ball. Kelly and Rivera know each other from their days together with the Philadelphia Eagles
