Ex-Eagles Coach Andy Reid Is Hired By Chiefs

ESPN is reporting that Andy Reid, fired Monday from the Philadelphia Eagles after 14 seasons, has a new football coaching job with the Kansas City Chief. The two sides have an agreement that's expected to be finalized today, ESPN says, citing NFL sources.

Reid's decision to take over the lowly Chiefs is a curious one. Kansas City just wrapped up a 2-14 season and "earned" the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft.

But coming off a horrific season and with first dibs on a difference-making college quarterback, the Chiefs give Reid a chance to bring his career back around full circle.

I think he got enough of vick in philly dont think he would want him in kc. Hes probably gonna draft a qb with the first pick and get his own guy he could groom. Best of luck to him ill be rooting for him to do good in kc.

actually, i think the Pioli firing reenergized the k.c. fan base more than the reid hiring from the people i know around here .............
