Mike Florio of Profootballtalk.com reports that free agent CB Stanford Routt is getting much closer to deciding where he’ll be playing next season. So far Routt has managed to visit with the Bills, Bengals and Chiefs in the last week. Other team’s have shown some amount of interest in him like the Titans and Cowboys but if the report is true, then you can expect to see him choosing between the team’s that he’s already visited with. Routt mentioned that he really like Buffalo and meeting with the front office and its’ players so they could be the favorites. It’s hard to gauge whether or not Kansas City’s interest in Routt is a tactic to obtain some leverage in negotiations with Brandon Carr but if they get the feeling that it will take too much money to keep him, they could move quickly on Routt.

Not sure if I will be happy if the Cowboys sign him. There has to be a reason the Raiders just dumped this guy like they did.

Money. The gave him a huge deal last year

Had a lot of PI's, but also had a YPA of about 6 as a #1 last year. IMO he would be a good pickup to push Scandrick
