While New Orleans Saints Coach Sean Payton has been reinstated from his season-long suspension for his role in the team's infamous pay-for-performance bounty scandal, the man charged with implementing the system still hasn't been reinstated.

Gregg Williams, the former Saints defensive coordinator, who was suspended indefinitely for orchestrating a bounty system the league contends the Saints had in place from 2009-2011, is still suspended, according to the NFL.

Williams, however, is free to pursue NFL jobs, a league source said. If Williams is able to find a job in the NFL, Commissioner Roger Goodell will then evaluate Williams' status.

Earlier this month it was reported that Williams would not be retained by the St. Louis Rams once he is reinstated to coach again.
