Ex-Saints Great Archie Manning Would Choose Peyton Manning Over Saints

With the Saints and Colts both undefeated, Archie Manning keeps hearing the question: Who would he root for in a Super Bowl between his old team and his son's club? The answer is easy for the former New Orleans quarterback. As Manning says, "The Saints are third on my list." Tied for first, of course, are the squads quarterbacked by his sons, Peyton's Indianapolis Colts and Eli's New York Giants.

    Very diplomatic statement by Archie.

As an unbiased observer I'd say's he's only half bullcrapting.

    Night TJ.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have 2 undefeated teams play against each other in the SB?

Probably not this year, but it's the closest it's ever been to happening.

And it would be friggin' awesome if it happened.

Doesn't say much for the rest of the league if this happens, looks bad in my opinion.

I agree. I don't know that I would like it at all.

Not surprising at all; exactly what you're supposed to say. I actually think he means it, though. Not about the whole team, but when Eli and Peyton are on the field, he's just a dad.

By the way, if the Colts and Saints were to both lose in the conference championship games, I've got a great newspaper headline: Nobody's Perfect.
